This unique, musical and interactive party is hosted by a professional storyteller and author-illustrator. For the younger set (4-7) Jehan will tell his original story of “Alfred the Ant (An Ant who Lives and has Fun in Central Park). After an engrossing telling of the story, activity pages are provided and children engage in creative activities including designing alternative story endings. For the older set (8-12) the story will be “The Banana that Ate New York” (A Non-Violent Story with a Tasty Ending!) Again the children will be encouraged to create an even tastier ending! The grand finale will be a sing-a-long song called “We’re Having Fun!” followed by a creation of your own Banana Splits!
