Little environmentalists will love the natural atmosphere as they explore the sounds and movements of the rainforest and its creatures while they learn to stretch, relax and meditate in mindful play. To little ones, Marci will be the Rainforest fairy who guides them on the adventure. For older children, Marci will return as the Queen of the Rainforest, avenging its preservation. Kids will delight in moving like birds and elephants and snakes and making the sounds of birds and lions! They will work together, as the creatures of the rainforest do, to create different poses and sounds. To relax at the romp’s end, children will lie on the “rainforest floor” and be guided through a Rainforest visualization and soothing meditation. When they open their eyes, they will discover a sparkling crystal at the foot of their sticky mats – a reminder of the peace and tranquility within themselves (For children ages 3-7.) A version for older children from 8-13 years may center around a rainforest safari in which poses are held for a longer duration.
