Especially appealing to little girls, this yoga party integrates pretty flower shape poses and dance positions. It is a sweet combination of yoga and ballet in a delicately scented environment. Princess Marci will invite the children into her garden for an afternoon tea party. After finding their “seats” by locating the place-card with their name on it atop a sticky mat, the party will commence. Children will be led in reaching up to the sky with joy and delight and gratitude, as the growing flowers and trees do. They will stretch and move in the sun dance and flow gracefully from pose to pose, pretending to be butterflies and flowers and birds in the garden. Maybe they will come upon a garden snake hid among the grasses of the garden and take on his shape and movements! Giggles and smiles will be shared in this lovely, elegant and playful party. The party will finish with a rest on a garden hill-top, under a beautiful, cloud-dotted sky. Marci will lead the children in a guided visualization through an enchanted garden. Finally, each child will receive a crystal presented to them in the center of a handmade flower. They will learn that according to yogic teachings, like the flower, their bodies have a beautiful center, too, called the navel charka (or the more kid-friendly reference, “belly-button charka”) which is the center of their bodies’ life-giving energy.
