Mermaid Marci has been granted one day to shed her tail and do yoga especially in honor of teaching the birthday girl or boy and party guests yoga. She is a yoga master in her underwater kingdom and wants to share this delightful activity with her human friends. She will set up the Above Sea Yoga Kingdom by aligning the sticky mats to face the “water’s edge.” Children will be led in a Sun Salutation facing the waves and then all will form boat pose to get ready to explore the sea. Children will enjoy doing fun poses related to the ocean and its creatures. A seaside treasure hunt will uncover a crystal for each child to take home as a souvenir from their day at the beach. The crystals will be hidden in a designated area of the party room among other pebbles and shells that have been pre-set. The beachcombers will go back to their mats and finish with a beach blanket relaxation to the soothing sounds of beach waves and seagulls. (Ages 3+)
